The ministry of Camp Northward would not exist if it were not for the people who make it happen.

A special Thank You goes out to our Corporation Members.  Our Corporation is made up of volunteers from our local supporting churches.  Anyone is invited to attend our open Corporation Meetings and volunteers are invited and encouraged to apply for membership to the corporation.

Corporation members attend 4 scheduled meetings a year and encouraged to participate in various leadership committees from time to time.  The corporation selects the Board of Trustees who in turn return with a variety of recommendations for Corporation approval as the needs arise.  The Corporation Member is a 'real' voice of the Church in how Camp Northward operates.  Check the 'schedule' page of this web site for announcements of meeting dates.

Our corporate structure would look much like an independent church congregation.  The Corporation selects a Board of Trustees who in turn have direct supervision over the operations of Camp Northward.  The Board of Trustees recommends then distributes responsibilities to hired staff members.  The Camp Coordinator and Director of Development report directly to this Board of Trustees and have oversight of various support personnel.

Mark Campbell joined our staff as Camp Coordinator on December 1, 2009.  Mark, his wife Keziah and son Joshua, come to us after nearly 20 years in Christian Camping.  They are busy getting acquainted with our family of churches and learning the No. Kentucky area.  With an education in Engineering followed by a Degree from Cincinnati Christian University, Mark brings a strong engineering and maintenance background which are already proving to be a great asset on our campus.  Mark will be bring great insight to our future building plans and projects. 

Director of Development

Wayne Keith joined our Northward staff in January of 2003 in this newly created position. Wayne, his wife Susan, and children Matthew, Courtney and Andrew have been active participants in the Northward programs for many years.  Wayne grew up as a camper at Northward from the Nicholson Christian Church.  He later worked as a faculty member and served in various committee positions during his 10 year ministry with Bethany Church of Christ in Bracken County. With a love for Camp and a vision of the future, Wayne accepted the development role to help advance Northward's move to our new Broadford Road property. Wayne brings ministry, management and construction background to promote Camp Northward in our church and community relations, to facilitate construction projects on our new property and to help develop a financial base for our current and long term growth.

Office Assistant

Amanda Hemphill joined our office staff in June of 2010.  She along with her husband Kevin and daughter Maggie have moved to Falmouth and are active members of the Brooksville Christian Church.  Amanda brings a lot of energy and laughter to our office, and is excited about the many opportunities to serve the Kingdom as part of the Camp ministry.
